It seems impassable to me, as there is no way to collect the required amount of diamonds. Darned boulders block the way to most of them, and the rest if far not enough.
Always assume the higher levels unsupported, unless proven otherwise.
It seems much like that most authors didn't care and only few actually did tweak the caves for levels. Don Pedro is apparently not one of them.
Btw., how did you manage to make the screenshot that ugly?

Err... That's not me, that's our developer. It's not from our remake, but from an emulator or level viewer. Just to make sure it's from the original game.
Perhaps the cave is even solvable? The initial amoeba size is less than 150, so you can still let it grow about 50 more units. Drop the boulder at the very left and then place Rockford so claver that the amoeba can grow as big as possible without reaching 200 units. Is that enough diamonds?
Yep, it works! Drop the boulder at the very left, then place Rockford at the lower- right corner and wait for the amoeba. You may get problems with the timer, however, so if the amoeba dawdles, you can still go towards it until about the middle- right. You can get about 50-60 diamonds that way.
I did let the amoeba grow as much as possible, but the problem is that there are still too few diamonds available for pick-up. I couldn't get even close to the required 50. Is there any way you can illustrate the solution you found?
1.Go up and drop the first boulder
2.Go down again and then right and place Rockford at the lower- right corner of the cave.
3.Wait for the amoeba to finish.
4. Go up and then left, collecting more than 50 diamonds
5.Free RF by pushing the boulder at the very left (the one you've dropped at step 1) and exit.
I can also send you the solution vai email, if you want.
