I'm wondering, how the objects are exactly animated in bd. It seems that each animation sequence consists of 8 pictures, and these 8 pictures are always drawn in a loop. But how many pictures are drawn during one scan (or one "frame")? I already made a guess, but I'm really not sure if I'm right.

The animations of the objects slime/amoeba, fireflies, butterflies, diamonds and a moving Rockford are always drawn in a loop of 8 pictures. Is this correct?
But how does it work with Rockford blinking and stamping?
I've got the intention that there are the following possibilities:
- Rockford is just standing with hanging his arms
- Rockford is blinking with hanging his arms
- Rockford is stamping without hanging his arms
- Rockford is blinking without hanging his arms
One of these animation sequences is chosen randomly. Is this correct?
