Just great! :) I didn't even know that there was such an event!

LogicDeLuxe's website was not updated so it's odd to download it from the riversedge.pl website only...

Information about event was presented on C64.sk, CSDb, Lemon64 forum and some other places. :)

Why it's odd to download from my website only? :) Links are at CSDb too.

It's only odd because if I made a new Boulder Dash I would post it on my page, too. Don't you think?

Wow! I'm fascinated by the great ideas in Brain Delicacy!!!
Boulder Dash X Rock, Paper, Scissors:
ROCKFORD collects DIAMOND, digs DIRT
DIAMOND outvalues DIRT & BOULDER
DIRT carries BOULDER, blocks FIREFLY
BOULDER kills FIREFLY & ROCKFORD
FIREFLY kills ROCKFORD, guards DIAMOND

Just got aware of these. Thank god I have stuff to puzzle while waiting for TLC 7.

I won't say without problems, they were an interesting challenge. However, several could be solved using the same techniques: drop a boulder to change a Firefly's route or to move a boulder away from the border so it can be moved around. Check out my Vice history file to see how I completed cave N; I recorded it on my 1st run, so there's no optimizations or shortcuts.

EDIT: Today's my day off so I checked out Power Dash as well, which was easy except for cave 27 which looks like done by Dr. Guru.

I have watched your solution videos to TLC4 and 5, and to me your Boulder Dash skills (just like that of Arno or Schlonkel) seem almost superhuman. So I feel honored that my caves also posed an interesting challenge to you.

Regading the VICE file: I use VICE2.3 for Linux, so the files are not compatible. But I would really be very interested in your solution of the game. Is it possible for you to post it as a video?

An interesting cave, but not done by me, as I was not involved in Power Dash.

I've uploaded it to Vimeo, don't know how they managed to mess up the quality though. BTW, have you tried to get Vice 2.1 for Linux? You should be able to watch my history then.

Thanks for uploading the video, Moon.

This was very interesting and entertaining for me. Very few caves (C, G, Int3, N) were solved quite differently than in my solution, several others differed in details. By the way: It is possible to solve Cave N (Pandora's Box) without opening any of the firefly boxes. This makes the cave much more relaxing.
I love the way how you use the firefly to transport the boulder across the gap in cave P. That's not the way I do it, but it's very cool.

Thanks again!

MMh, I'd really like a video of doing cave P without opening Pandora's Box, so far it seems impossible.

Here's a way of solving cave N without opening Pandora's Box:

Yes, i know. :) Nonetheless I think your solution is somehow heroic. I personally didn't even believe it's possible to open one of the firefly boxes and survive the cave! Also, you have found a shortcut for cave G (The Cut) and your solution to cave C (Falling) is faster than mine.

I have posted a video of cave P (The Blocker), because Oldie and I were very surprised when we saw, how you brought the boulder accross the gap. So here's my version FYI:
