GDash and Windows 10?

Post by benjamind2011 »

Just wondering if anyone has been running GDash in Windows 10?

I heard that there were specific OpenGL issues in Windows 10 but it seems to be only related to certain drivers and that it could be rectified by installing new drivers and removing old drivers before installing the new ones.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to test myself.

Hi benjamind! Sorry, I'm not using Windows 10 so I cannot test this at the moment.

I can confirm that GDash runs in Windows 10 and does so very well :D

I've been wondering whether progress has been happening with GDash in the last year or so?

I'm still making caves ;)

Hello
I confirm, Gdash under Windows 10 is stable.

What is the chance to have Gdash version under Windows 10 64 bit?

I read here in the forum that the engine XDC will have 7 levels.
It would be nice if, cave set in Gdash also could have 7 levels?

Regards

GDash has been almost 4 years and there's be no further development save for a port for a portable system, I forget which one.

We need a port for iOS and Android. That will be a game changer. But for now, PC works fine on Windows 10. I use Win10 x64 and run it without any trouble.

Yes I know, I have two computers, one with windows 10 32 bit, the other with windows 10 64 bit.
Gdash on both computers is stable.
However, today programmers create two versions of programs under windows. 32 and 64 bit, or only 64 bit already. Gdash is 32 bit.

I do not know much about android and ios. I do not have a device with any of these systems.

If Gdash ever goes out on an android, then I'll buy a tablet to test it.

And back to my previous question, can you in Gdash make a cave that has 7 levels? LogicDeluxe wrote on the forum here that he plans to do XDC engine with such capability.

What would it look like in Gdash?
Would it be difficult to implement?

Cirix, please answer this question.
