Yes Arno, i've started to do the same with *.png files.
Maybe it would be worth, to talk about it with other guys and Krissz himself on the 'MESSAGES' ?
Cave collection of yours and Trischi is incredible. Years of hard work.
Releasing a offline version with downloadable caves guarantee that the Krissz's BD will be alive forever. Even when the server stops working.
Otherwise, going back to C-64 version after playing Krissz's BD is lika a regression to me personally.
I've really enjoyed the caves on Krissz's site! I'm also a big fan of GDash and all the caves that come with it.
I'd like to make two suggestions for Krissz's Boulder Dash engine:
1. Add at least some of the new elements that are found in GDash. I'd be really interested in seeing some new levels from the big movers and shakers with those elements.
2. Just like in GDash, add the ability to change the colors in a level that you're currently playing to random colors.

Hi quimby, are you registrated at Krissz' site? Perhaps you could post your suggestions to Krissz via the message board?
I know, however, that Krissz' is a bit reluctant to add new elements as he believes the power of the game is in its simplicity. _________________ ---- Boulder Dash Fansite ----
Is there a possibility to redefine the keyboard settings on the site? My arrow buttons are partly invalid - it's an old keyboard! - so it would be very useful for me! _________________ Boulder Dash X Rock, Paper, Scissors:

It seems not at this moment. There are some user-specifc settings but keyboard settings are not one of those. Currently (for me) the arrow keys plus left CTRL work. But perhaps Krissz could easily implement configurable control keys on request. _________________ ---- Boulder Dash Fansite ----

There is no real 'Pause' button, but you could press the Settings button at the top-left corner while playing. _________________ ---- Boulder Dash Fansite ----
I have no access to Krissz's site since yesterday. (The "loading" sign is all I get.) Do others have the same problem? _________________ Boulder Dash X Rock, Paper, Scissors:
