Woot! I'll check it out!

I guess now you can call it Present Dash :)

Yeah! I was thinking about that. But decided it would be too confusing to have 2 names for the same caveset. :)

As there is no CrLi engine game on the maps page at all, I guess, nobody wrote a converter yet. Same for 1stB, CrDr, and Rockford's BD2 extensions.
From the information in my FAQ, it should be possible to write them.

I have no X2BDCFF converter for CrLi engine games either. Writing such thing would be another holiday nights project.....

Alternatively, as Future Dash doesn't use special CrLi elements, it possible to make the BDCFF manually (but boring work....... :yawn: )

Is the X2BDCFF converter source code available by any chance?
For my upcomping Crazy Dream PC, I plan to make a converter which supports close to all C64 games. The exceptions would be some really special effects which only appear on one game. The souce code would be nice. Otherwise, I have to write it from scratch.
It also will detect, if the game uses the BD2 dirt mod, as well as global and per cave Diego Effects.
I'll finish the CLCK before that, though.

Anyways, as Future Dash doesn't use special CrLi elements, a new converter is all it needs. The BDCFF->MAPS Converter should handle it right away, then.

Great! :D
Last time when Tim Stridmann mailed me he told me that his plans are to:
1. publish the new version of BDCFF;
2. clean up the source code of his converter and send it to me.
None of these has happened yet; I guess he has VERY little time to Boulder Dash... :( Also I've no idea if he wants others to continue developing his tool.....

On the other hand, he certainly want to see support for BDCFF. If it wasn't for him, BDCFF probably was completely forgotten by now.
